Test Manager – Cloud Migration

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead testing activities for a major cloud migration and functional uplift program. This is a high-visibility role at one of Australia’s leading logistics organisations and a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a large-scale transformation initiative.

WHAT’S ON OFFER

• 💰 Daily Rate: Up to $1,000 per day (initial 6-month contract)
• 📍 Location: Hybrid – Melbourne preferred
• 🚀 Program: Cloud migration and functional uplift across Digital & Transport Management Systems.
• 👥 Leadership: Take full ownership of end-to-end testing delivery, leading and mentoring testing teams.

THE ROLE:

As the Test Manager, you will be accountable for developing and delivering the end-to-end testing strategy across multiple streams. You’ll work closely with program leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the test strategy across unit, system, integration, UAT, and regression testing.
• Own the test plan, schedule, and traceability matrix, aligned with program milestones.
• Define entry/exit criteria, acceptance protocols, and defect management processes.
• Drive preparation of test scenarios, scripts, test data, and environments in collaboration with SMEs and functional leads.
• Oversee defect triage and resolution, ensuring timely prioritisation and closure.
• Deliver regular test reporting with progress, risks, and quality metrics to governance forums.
• Support go-live readiness through production validation, business verification, and HyperCare planning.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 15+ years of testing experience, including 10+ years as a Test Manager on complex programs
• Proven experience in Australian enterprise environments (non-government & non-banking sectors)
• Strong background in cloud migration and enterprise applications (ERP, WMS, TMS, CRM)
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills with a solutions-focused approach
• Ability to deliver in fast-paced and complex environments
