Treasury Specialist

Salt is currently hiring a FIS Treasury Specialist for a client of ours in Amsterdam.

This is a freelance role, and you would require kvk/zzp.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior FIS Treasury Specialist to support the implementation and optimization of FIS Quantum and Trax modules. This role focuses on configuring treasury solutions, establishing bank connectivity, supporting integrations, and providing go-live and post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize FIS Quantum and Trax modules (Cash Management, Investments, Intercompany, Debt, FX).
• Design and configure treasury solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Translate business needs into system configurations and documentation.
• Establish bank connectivity via SWIFT and Host-to-Host.
• Plan and execute testing (unit, integration, UAT) and support go-live activities.
• Partner with business, finance, and IT teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide post-implementation support, training, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in treasury, banking, or treasury system implementations.
• Hands-on experience with FIS Quantum, Trax, and ERP integrations (3-4 implementations preferred).
• Strong knowledge of treasury operations, cash accounting, payments, and financial instruments.
• Experience with SaaS and on-premise environments.
• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle/SQL Server) and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; fluent in English.
