Recruitment Consultant – Contract Marketing

We’re growing our Marketing team in London. You’ll be naturally curious about innovations shaping the digital economy and have at least 2 years of recent experience within agency recruitment focusing on business development and headhunting the best talent in your space. You’ll be connected within your specialist community, actively engaging with leading organisations and exceptional talent across the region. You will possess deep industry knowledge, a flexible approach to addressing clients’ needs, and a sharp eye on emerging talent, recruitment and workforce trends.

Your mission (What you’ll do):

– Win new business. Proactively identify and engage new client opportunities across the marketing sector, building your own desk from the ground up

• Own the contract lifecycle. Manage every stage from role brief through to placement, extension and renewal, keeping candidates and clients engaged throughout
• Build a specialist talent pool. Headhunt and nurture relationships with the best contract marketing talent, so you’re never starting from scratch
• Become a trusted advisor. Provide clients with market insight, rate benchmarking and workforce guidance that keeps them coming back
• Stay ahead of the market. Keep a close eye on emerging trends in the contract marketing space, from IR35 shifts to in-demand skill sets

Who we’re looking for:

• Proven billing experience. 2+ years in agency recruitment, within either contract or marketing recruitment
• A natural business developer. Comfortable picking up the phone, opening doors and turning conversations into new client relationships
• Genuine sector knowledge. A real interest in marketing, and an understanding of what makes contract talent tick
• Fast-paced and organised. Able to prioritise on the fly, move with urgency and manage multiple live roles without losing momentum
• A builder’s mindset. Someone who wants to grow a market and make it their own, not just work a pipeline someone else built
