Pre-Sales Specialist

Location: Hybrid

Reports to: Head of Pre-Sales

Type: Full-time

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Pre-Sales Specialist to lead engagement across our technology solutions portfolio. In this role, you’ll combine strong technical understanding with effective communication and enablement skills to support our sales teams, partners, and customers.

You’ll act as an in-house product expert – demonstrating solution capabilities, supporting pre-sales engagements, and ensuring customers and partners understand how to achieve maximum value from our technologies.


Key Responsibilities

Solution Expertise

  • Serve as the subject matter expert across designated technology solutions and services.
  • Stay up to date with the latest product developments, vendor updates, and market strategies.
  • Translate technical information into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.

Pre-Sales Support & Customer Engagement

  • Support sales teams in customer engagements by providing demonstrations, technical guidance, and solution recommendations.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations showcasing how our solutions enhance productivity, efficiency, and ROI.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for adoption and optimisation.

Sales Enablement & Training

  • Deliver engaging training sessions to internal teams to strengthen product knowledge and sales confidence.
  • Create sales tools, reference guides, and enablement materials to support effective positioning.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to drive campaigns and pipeline success.

Channel & Partner Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with vendor and channel partners to enhance capability and confidence in positioning solutions.
  • Act as a product advocate within the channel – promoting best practices and sharing key updates.
  • Support joint customer opportunities and partner-led initiatives.

About You

  • Proven experience working with or selling IT, software, or digital solutions.
  • Strong background in pre-sales, including demonstrations, proposal development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Confident collaborating across multiple teams, including sales, marketing, and vendor management.
  • Passionate about technology and driven to help others realise its business potential.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in a pre-sales, vendor specialist, or technical enablement role within IT distribution or software sales.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software or digital productivity solutions.
  • Relevant certifications or product training (advantageous but not essential)
