Application Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Application Solution Architect to support a major enterprise technology simplification and platform modernisation program within a large, complex organisation.

This role will sit within an established Architecture & Solutions function and take ownership of end-to-end application solution design, working closely with delivery teams, architects and senior business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture across ServiceNow ITSM and Student Lifecycle (SLC/RAS) planning and replacement initiatives

• Develop conceptual, logical and detailed solution designs, patterns and standards

• Provide architectural oversight and governance across application and integration domains

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions

• Contribute to architecture forums, design reviews and delivery assurance

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in Application or Solution Architecture roles

• Strong ServiceNow & ITSM experience (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Request)

• Experience modernising or replacing highly customised legacy platforms

• Solid capability across integration architecture, data models, IAM and security

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Ability to operate from high-level architecture through to detailed design
