We’re partnering with a leading events and exhibitions business in the region to hire an Assistant Vice President – Marketing. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, commercially driven environments and knows how to turn marketing into a true revenue engine.
The Role
You will lead the marketing strategy across a portfolio of large-scale B2B exhibitions and conferences, driving audience growth, brand positioning, and commercial performance. Working closely with senior leadership, sales teams, and key stakeholders, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the success of major industry events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive visitor acquisition and exhibitor demand
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team
- Own campaign planning across digital, content, PR, and partnerships
- Collaborate with sales to align marketing efforts with revenue targets and pipeline growth
- Leverage data, insights, and emerging technologies (including AI tools) to optimise performance
- Manage budgets effectively, ensuring strong ROI across all campaigns
- Build strategic partnerships with media, industry bodies, and key stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
- 10-15+ years of marketing experience, ideally within B2B events, exhibitions, or conferences
- Proven track record of delivering measurable commercial growth through marketing
- Strong leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Expertise across digital marketing, brand strategy, and demand generation
- Highly commercial mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience in international markets is a plus
