Assistant Vice President – Partnerships and Investment (Real Estate)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for this real estate organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting. You will have an excellent understanding of Excel (or other spreadsheet software) and use that to perform complex financial analyses of projects for clients.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include analyzing financial modeling and transactions, performing sensitivity and other ad hoc analyses, and creating and conducting presentations based on the results. The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines is a must.

Use Excel to produce high-quality spreadsheets and reports
Use financial analysis tools to evaluate portfolio options and advise
Provide predictive forecasts, such as expected raw material needs or anticipated sales figures
Identify new business opportunities, such as undervalued securities or untapped revenue streams
Work with a team of financial analysts or other financial modeling analysts for decision-making and forecasting

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, accounting, or finance; master’s degree, CFA, or diploma in financial planning a plus
Excellent Excel skills or experience with similar spreadsheet software, including the use of charts, macros, and VBA
Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and a solid understanding of financial analysis terminology
A keen eye for detail and an ability to sift through large data sets to extract meaningful information
Excellent time management skills, including the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
