BI Analyst

Location: Hybrid – Onsite in Cupertino,CA

Contract: 12 months – Option to extend after initial term

Salt has partnered with a leading global technology company to find a BI Analyst to join their Cross Line of Business (LOB) Marketing team. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who thrives in translating complex analytics into actionable business insights. You’ll play a key role in delivering strategic intelligence, improving data quality, and enhancing reporting processes that empower marketing teams across the organization.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, data engineers, and marketing stakeholders – leveraging your technical expertise and business acumen to drive impactful decision-making and measurable results.

What You’ll Do

• Publish and communicate timely, accurate reports with digestible insights for business teams.
• Audit data and systems regularly to ensure consistency and integrity.
• Act as a key contributor in defining business requirements for campaign reporting tools.
• Manage operations and campaign performance reporting, leading prioritization and development with data engineering teams.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and product teams to define roadmaps and set goals.
• Develop prototypes and POCs to explore new analytical ideas and technologies.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in the Marketing Analytics domain.
• High proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, Vertica, MySQL, or similar).
• Experience with Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container technologies.
• Strong data visualization skills – ideally with Tableau.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark, Presto, Parquet).
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to turn data into actionable business strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to explain analytical findings clearly.
• Self-starter with proven ability to manage fast-paced, high-volume projects.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
