Business Development Manager – Solar & Energy Exhibitions
🔑 What You’ll Do
- Build and manage relationships with energy sector clients, sponsors, and exhibitors.
- Identify new business opportunities in solar, storage, and clean energy markets.
- Engage prospects through consultative sales conversations.
- Create tailored proposals that align with client goals and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to shape event strategy and commercial offerings.
- Represent the brand at industry events and ensure sponsor success.
- Maintain a strong presence on LinkedIn and other platforms to drive engagement.
💡 What You Bring
- Experience in B2B sales, sponsorship, or commercial partnerships.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Interest in the solar and renewable energy sector in Africa.
- Ability to research, prospect, and build a sales pipeline from scratch.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- A proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
