Compute Business Unit Manager
A growing technology solutions provider is looking for a Compute Business Unit Manager to take ownership of a strategic portfolio focused on cloud and infrastructure solutions. This organisation works closely with leading technology partners to help businesses modernise their environments and adopt scalable, cloud-first technologies.

The Role
As the Compute Business Unit Manager, you will be responsible for managing and evolving the organisation’s compute portfolio, which includes solutions across private cloud, public cloud, data management, managed services, and colocation.
You’ll drive the product strategy, oversee commercial performance, and act as the internal subject matter expert for the compute stack. The role involves working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and partners to ensure the portfolio remains competitive, scalable, and aligned with market demand.
Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the strategy for the compute portfolio

Manage the full product lifecycle, from development through to launch and optimisation

Monitor product performance and adjust strategy to meet commercial targets

Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities

Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver and improve solutions

Develop pricing strategies and oversee portfolio profitability

Support go-to-market initiatives and sales enablement

Deliver training and enablement to internal teams

Act as the subject matter expert on the compute product stack
What We’re Looking For
-
Around 10 years of experience in a technical, infrastructure, or product-focused role

Strong understanding of cloud, infrastructure, or enterprise technology environments

Experience managing product strategy and lifecycle management

Strong commercial awareness including pricing and revenue performance

Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
