Corporate Director – Marketing

Job Purpose

To define and lead the enterprise-wide marketing strategy, driving brand positioning, revenue contribution, and portfolio visibility across local, regional, and international markets.

To manage integrated marketing – including brand, digital, PR, events, sponsorships, and internal communications.

To partner with senior commercial leadership, translating commercial objectives into marketing execution that strengthens competitive positioning and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning:

  • Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy aligned with commercial and asset management objectives.
  • Align marketing initiatives with broader group-level priorities.
  • Establish brand architecture and positioning frameworks across multiple assets, ensuring clear market differentiation.
  • Oversee advertising, media planning, and campaign execution to maximize ROI and maintain a consistent brand image.
  • Lead branding strategies for exhibitions, activations, and market-entry initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand patterns to inform strategic decisions.
  • Recommend repositioning opportunities, brand evolution, and new product propositions based on data insights.

Revenue Marketing & Performance:

  • Develop targeted marketing campaigns across offline and digital channels for defined customer segments and markets.
  • Manage the overall marketing and promotions budget.
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance across business units, recommending corrective actions where needed.

PR, Media & Partnerships:

  • Oversee press releases and media relations.
  • Build and manage relationships with PR agencies, influencers, and media platforms.
  • Negotiate and secure sponsorships with strategic partners (e.g., airlines, financial institutions, lifestyle brands).

Events & Internal Communications:

  • Lead events, exhibitions, and brand activations to enhance customer experience and asset visibility.
  • Manage crisis communication and internal communications across business units.
  • Coordinate with corporate communications teams on relevant initiatives.

Key Measures of Success

  • Revenue contribution from marketing-driven channels (e.g., direct bookings, campaigns, partnerships).
  • Brand awareness and share of voice in target markets.
  • Return on investment (ROI) across total marketing spend.
  • Delivery of events, exhibitions, and sponsorship programs on time and within budget.

  • Reports to: Senior Commercial Executive

    • Asset Management Leadership
    • Product & Experience Teams
    • Corporate Marketing & Communications
    • Partnerships & Customer Experience Teams

    • External partners and agencies

Financial Accountability

  • Responsible for recommending and approving marketing and promotions budgets across the portfolio.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role with periodic travel for industry events, site visits, and regional activations.

Qualifications & Experience

Years of Experience:

  • 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in hospitality, leisure, or consumer-facing sectors.
  • Minimum 4+ years in a senior leadership role managing multi-channel marketing functions.

Technical & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Proven experience leading integrated marketing strategies across brand, digital, PR, and events.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link marketing investment to revenue outcomes.
  • Experience managing agencies, media partnerships, and sponsorship agreements.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and attribution modeling.
  • Results-driven leader comfortable in fast-paced, multi-asset environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Professional marketing certifications (e.g., CIM) are advantageous.
