Salt is hiring a ‘Creative Director’ to lead integrated marketing and brand creative initiatives in partnership with agencies, product marketers, and cross-functional teams, ensuring consistent and impactful brand storytelling across all consumer touchpoints. This role will drive innovative, culturally relevant, and performance-oriented campaigns across multiple media formats, with a strong focus on social-first creative and digital platforms.

This is a contract role based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership & Campaign Development

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across video, social, digital, OOH, and emerging media platforms.
  • Conceptualize and oversee social-first campaign launches for globally recognized consumer and entertainment brands.
  • Develop strategic creative briefs informed by audience insights, cultural trends, and performance data to inspire breakthrough creative work.
  • Partner with internal creative teams and external agencies to produce high-impact campaigns and performance-driven creative assets.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders including marketing, product marketing, analytics, and sales teams to deliver cohesive creative solutions across channels.
  • Provide creative direction, mentorship, and oversight to internal teams, production partners, and agencies.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Drive alignment across internal stakeholders and leadership teams around creative strategies and campaign direction.
  • Translate testing insights, performance analytics, and audience behaviors into actionable creative recommendations and iterative improvements.
  • Establish best practices across paid, owned, and partner marketing channels while educating cross-functional teams on creative effectiveness and platform optimization.
  • Partner with brand, design, and marketing leaders to ensure campaigns balance brand storytelling with performance marketing objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor across creative, marketing, analytics, and commercial functions.

Skills & Expertise

Creative & Communication

  • Strong conceptual copywriting experience across campaigns spanning social, video, digital, brand platforms, and integrated marketing.
  • Expertise in short-form storytelling, social-first content, scripts, manifestos, and platform-native creative.
  • Experience developing brand voice systems, editorial frameworks, and scalable creative narratives.
  • Strong scriptwriting capabilities across performance marketing, documentary-style storytelling, creator content, and cinematic campaigns.
  • Exceptional attention to craft, editing precision, and creative detail.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to develop compelling narratives and executive-ready presentations.

Strategic & Cultural Understanding

  • Deep understanding of short-form video ecosystems and emerging content formats across social platforms.
  • Strong cultural fluency with the ability to adapt messaging and creative approaches across diverse international audiences.
  • Experience shaping and evolving brand identity and voice for major brands or fast-growing businesses.
  • Ability to balance data-informed optimization with bold creative thinking and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in creative direction, integrated marketing, or brand communications.
  • Proven experience leading consumer marketing campaigns in integrated marketing environments.
  • Strong experience working with data, insights, and performance metrics to inform creative decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience managing creative teams, agencies, and production partners.
  • Proven ability to drive innovation in digital and performance marketing environments.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, analytics, product, and commercial teams.
  • Experience localizing campaigns and managing creative development across international markets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional regional language capabilities are advantageous.
