Data Centre Operations Analyst
This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Centre Operations Analyst to join a high-performing Service Engineering team responsible for global infrastructure operations, standards, and architecture.
Based on-site you’ll play a key role in maintaining critical infrastructure that supports customers worldwide.
About the Role
As a Data Centre Operations Analyst, you will support the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring uptime, reliability, and smooth functioning of all infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical position offering exposure to servers, networks, cabling, hardware troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily data centre operations and environment checks.
- Maintain facility stock and assist with operational scheduling.
- Participate in new data centre builds, upgrades, and deployments.
- Install servers, pre-integrated racks, and network appliances including cabling, wiring, stacking, and cable management.
- Troubleshoot rack-level issues within internal SLAs.
- Perform hardware break-fix tasks for servers and network appliances.
- Coordinate equipment shipping, delivery, and onsite logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all security, safety, and operational protocols.
- Conduct regular audits and maintain documentation and operational standards.
- Participate in 24/7 support rotation for scheduled maintenance or emergency scenarios (must be willing to work during off-hours for scheduled maintenance, emergencies, and on-call situations).
About You

We’re looking for someone who is:
- An individual with a strong interest in data centre operations.
- Organised, proactive, and detail oriented.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and software tools (including workflow automation & AI).
- Able to communicate clearly with internal teams and vendors.
- Curious, resourceful, and keen to grow into a specialist role.
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in data centre or facility operations (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (highly regarded but not essential).
- Understanding of network devices and server hardware.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (domestic and international).
- Able to work outside normal hours if required (on-call rotation, maintenance windows).
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
