My client is a digitally focused consultancy and technology business.
They are well known for enabling transformation for leading global players. This role sits within a data & analytics arm of the business where the focus is across innovation, digital and disruptive technologies encompassed by an entrepreneurial spirit.
Currently they are partnered with the UK’s leading data lab within a global data & analytics provider. In this team the focus is on creating brand We are currently looking for a python developer to join this team.
You will be at the forefront of innovation creating Machine Learning driven products or replacing existing solutions with advanced ML. The teams focus is R&D and it benefits from operating with a start-up mentality. Based in a WeWork in London, the environment encourages collaboration and new ideas.
Please see below the relevant experience needed:
- Strong Python development skills, with good exposure to both vanilla Python (v3) and also to its scientific stack (e.g.,
- pandas, numpy, scikit-learn).
- Experience developing Python code aimed for Linux deployment
- Shell scripting (bash)
- Working knowledge of make, and Luigi if possible.
- Relational and NoSQL databases (like MySql, MongoDb, etc).
- Exposure to REST APIs using Flask, Django or any other framework.
- TDD Exposure.
- Docker/Containers
- Understand and follow Yagni, KISS & DRY mantras.
- Able to work in an iterative, Agile manner.
- SOLID principles
- Positive attitude to eventually work with other languages like Java, C#, JavaScript.
