Digital Channels Solution Architect

Duration: 12 Months extendable

Iqama: Must hold a transferable Iqama

Our Consultancy client is seeking an experienced Digital Channels Solution Architect to design end-to-end solutions across web, mobile and self-service platforms.

This is a hands-on architecture and solution design role focused on producing implementation-ready designs and documentation. Please note that this is not a software development position and does not involve coding or line management responsibilities.

Required Experience:

• 6-10 years of overall IT experience
• At least 3-5 years of experience in solution design, application architecture or solution architecture roles
• Strong experience designing solutions for web and mobile digital channels
• Good architectural understanding of frontend and backend technologies
• Strong knowledge of APIs, integrations and service-based architectures
• Experience with cloud-based digital platforms
• Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working within large or complex enterprise environments would be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end digital channel architectures covering frontend platforms, backend services, integrations, APIs and cloud components
• Translate business requirements into practical, scalable and implementation-ready solution designs
• Produce High-Level Designs, solution diagrams, interface contracts and integration views
• Ensure alignment across frontend technologies, backend services, API layers and cloud platforms
• Design and review REST, SOAP and event-driven integrations
• Address non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, availability and security
• Review vendor solution designs and provide architectural guidance and feedback
• Participate in architecture and design reviews
• Maintain clear and comprehensive architecture documentation
• Work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and technical delivery teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
