Digital Operations Manager – Shopify Specialist

Our client, Kathmandu, NZ’s leading outdoor lifestyle brand, has a vacancy for a high performing Digital Ops Manager with deep expertise in Shopify to bring that expertise in-house.

This newly created role will lead and manage the end-to-end operational delivery through campaigns, platform execution, product, promotions, pricing with a global operational lens.

(Note: this role could also be based in Melbourne for the right candidate)

The role

• Own the digital operations calendar (campaigns, product launches, promos, key trade events)
• Manage and oversee go-live processes
• Lead a team of specialists, Managing Development and Marketing teams, offshore call centre and customer care to ensure a seamless customer experience.

• Deep expertise in Shopify – this is the most critical purpose of the role
• Proven leadership/ coaching ability
• CRM experience (Klaviyo)
• CMS, PIM, Chatbot and automation tools
• Marketplace operations knowledge
• Operational excellence in workflow, campaigns, QA, platform health
• Cross functional collaboration and strong understanding of agile
• Strategic & change enablement
