This is a crucial role for an individual who thrives on wearing multiple hats, bridging the gap between business strategy, user needs, and technology delivery. A large part of this role involves taking complete ownership of the digital portfolio, requiring a strategic mindset and hands-on operational excellence.
What Will You Be Doing?
1. Product strategy and vision
- Define, articulate, and execute the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and user needs
- Shape the long-term vision of the website and digital platforms, ensuring a deep understanding of the product and its value proposition
- Drive product improvements based on data, market analysis, and a strong understanding of the business landscape
2. Digital platform management
- Take responsibility for the development and enhancement of core digital properties, including the primary website and the mobile application
- Oversee the CPD platform, ensuring seamless functionality that allows healthcare professionals to earn CPD
- Facilitate an effective Agile process alongside company’s external agency
3. Technology and operations
- Serve as the owner of the technical stack, managing the underlying architecture and ensuring scalability and performance
- Oversee system stability and actively participate in bug fixing and quality assurance, particularly on the frontend side of applications
- Build integrations between our core platforms and third-party systems
4. Vendor, data, and user experience
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with outsourcing partners and external vendors, holding them accountable for quality and delivery milestones
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of CRM systems (eg ActiveCampaign or similar marketing automation platforms), data management, and how data informs the product roadmap
What you’ll bring?
- 5+ years’ experience in digital product management, digital experience, or web/app project delivery
- Proven experience in a digital experience manager, digital product management, product owner, or similar role
- Ability to manage the technical stack (or at least the operational oversight of it) without requiring hands-on coding ability
- Solid practical experience with web development concepts, including WordPress and understanding plugins – no coding is required, but proficiency in managing these technologies is essential (prior use of Elementor is desirable)
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in working with external development teams
- A creative, strategic, and detail-oriented mindset
- An interest in healthcare, education, or digital publishing (preferred but not essential)
Why join the company:
- Work with a collaborative, innovative, and supportive team
- Lead meaningful digital projects that shape the future of healthcare education
- Enjoy hybrid working arrangements and opportunities for professional growth
