A rare opportunity for an experienced Domain Architect to shape the architecture of complex telecommunications platforms operating within a classified environment.

This role sits at the intersection of enterprise architecture, security, and telecom product delivery, designing solutions across platforms that support service delivery, assurance, and billing.

You’ll work alongside enterprise architects, security engineers, and delivery teams to ensure systems are secure-by-design, scalable, and aligned to strategic transformation programs.

This role suits an architect who enjoys owning large technology domains, influencing senior stakeholders, and designing solutions in complex environments.

The Role

As the Domain Architect, you’ll help shape architecture across key customer value streams including Sell, Connect, Fix and Use, supporting the delivery of telecommunications services in a secure environment.

You’ll contribute to target state architectures, transition roadmaps, and architecture standards, while supporting transformation initiatives across BSS, OSS, network and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define domain architecture standards, principles and reference architectures
  • Lead security-by-design across solution architecture and system changes
  • Contribute architectural direction to major technology programs
  • Review project and solution designs for security and architecture alignment
  • Support integration across identity, network security, monitoring and data protection
  • Contribute to secure cloud architecture and Zero Trust security models
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, delivery teams and technical leaders
  • Participate in architecture governance and best practice uplift

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Architecture experience within telecommunications environments
  • Experience designing systems supporting complex product delivery
  • Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TM Forum / TMF ODA
  • Experience with security frameworks such as PSPF, IRAP, NIST or DISP
  • Ability to design architecture across enterprise systems, networks and security domains
  • NV1 Security Clearance

Desirable

  • Experience with BSS, OSS and network integration
  • Exposure to Zero Trust security architecture
  • Knowledge of data security or DLP controls
  • Experience within government, defence or critical infrastructure environments
