Job Description: Finance Manager
Location: Johannesburg (Full-time, in-office)
Department: Finance
Salary: R60 000 – R70 000 CTC per month (negotiable based on experience)

We are recruiting on behalf of a multinational distribution business operating in a fast-paced, operationally driven environment requiring strong commercial finance leadership, process ownership, and financial control.

The role:
This is not a traditional accounting-focused Finance Manager role. You will take ownership of the broader finance function, partnering closely with operations while driving reporting, controls, cashflow management, and process improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities:
* Managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
* Driving operational finance and supporting business decision-making
* Overseeing inventory, warehouse, and distribution finance processes
* Strengthening internal controls, governance, and finance discipline
* Investigating and resolving stock, sales, and system discrepancies
* Supporting ERP system optimisation and process improvements
* Managing relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
* Leading a lean finance function in a hands-on capacity

Requirements:
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
* 5+ years’ experience in a Finance Manager role
* Strong operational and commercial finance experience
* Experience within distribution, FMCG, ICT, manufacturing, or supply chain environments advantageous
* Strong ERP systems exposure (SAP preferred)
* Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
* Hands-on working style
