The Company:
My client, a Private Fund Manager is looking for a career-driven Quantitative Developer with hands-on end to end experience using Full Stack Technologies and direct experience in one or more asset class working on or with a Quant Desk
The role:
- You will be building market simulation engines, quantitative modelling and developing existing algorithms within the client’s platform in Python
- You will be working within a variety of disciplines, designing, coding, verifying, testing, documenting, and amending programs and integration software services.
- Be an advocate for the adoption of Agile/Scrum practices, methodologies, and attitudes.
What makes you a good fit:
- A minimum of 3 – 4 years of commercial experience using Python and Full Stack Tech
- Strong knowledge of Quantitative Analysis / Development
- A strong understanding of financial markets and at least one asset class
- Experience with Investment / Quantitative Strategies
- Data Analysis and Manipulation
In this role you will have the opportunity to skill-up in additional areas as we expand our scope with the following languages/technologies:
- AWS Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS, etc)
- Docker
- Machine Learning
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in engineering, computer science, or equivalent
