About the Role
We are looking for a world-class Graphic Designer who can elevate presence across every touchpoint: homepage banners, campaign artwork, emailers, social media assets, brand layouts, and seasonal stories.

This is not a typical mass-retail design role.

You will be responsible for designing visuals that reflect who we are: a premium-to-bridge, affordable luxury department store with a 106-year legacy of quality, craftsmanship, and iconic brands.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creative & Visual Design
● Create stunning homepage banners, hero visuals, landing pages, campaign art, and seasonal stories that are premium, clean, and conversion-focused.
● Design emailers/newsletters with strong visual hierarchy, premium typography, and world-class layout finesse.
● Develop high-impact social media assets (static, motion, reels, GIFs) that feel premium, contemporary, and platform-appropriate.
● Ensure all design output matches Jashanmal’s aesthetic: minimal, elegant, premium-to-bridge, editorial when needed, commercial when needed.
● Build visual systems for major campaigns: Eid, Ramadan, Back to School, White Wednesday, Christmas, etc.

2. Brand & Aesthetic Alignment
● Understand our brand deeply and help us evolve it visually across digital media.
● Maintain consistency across all touchpoints while uplifting visual quality month over month.
● Advocate premium typography, spacing, grid systems, and color theory to elevate our design standards.
● Collaborate closely with Product Design (UI/UX) to ensure banners, layouts, and artwork match the J2.0 aesthetic.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration
● Work with Category Management to translate product stories into beautiful visual narratives.
● Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, and Social Media to craft campaign creatives aligned with business goals.
● Support product launches, new brand onboarding, seasonal collections, and promotional events.
● Work closely with photographers and retouchers to ensure visual harmony between images and graphic layouts.

4. Speed, Quality & Ownership
● Deliver high-quality artwork quickly without losing finesse.
● Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving digital environment.
● Maintain a strong attention to detail across spacing, layout, typography, and alignment.

Required Skills & Experience:
● 4+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer in fashion, premium/bridge retail, luxury, lifestyle, editorial or high-design digital agencies.
● Expert in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and familiarity with Figma is a plus.
● Exceptional visual taste – a deep understanding of premium design, editorial design, fashion/lifestyle aesthetics, and luxury brand cues.
● Strong portfolio showing homepage banners, emailers, campaign visuals, and social assets for premium or bridge brands.
● Ability to adapt global luxury aesthetics into a Middle Eastern context.
● Understanding of CRO-conscious digital design (visual hierarchy, CTA placement, text legibility, responsive cropping).
● Ability to turn abstract briefs or product collections into coherent, compelling visuals.

Preferred Qualities:
● A sharp aesthetic eye for premium lifestyle design.
● A sense of minimalism, cleanliness, and sophistication.
● Strong ownership mindset – takes ideas from concept to polished execution.
● Passion for fashion, home, beauty, lifestyle, and premium retail storytelling.
● Willingness to experiment, iterate, and raise the bar for the entire Digital Team.
