- Drive continuous improvement, compliance, and performance outcomes
This role currently reports to the GM, with future alignment likely into a regional leadership structure.
Your Environment
- Work within a dynamic setting involving a diverse range of individuals
- Support two distinct locations with different operating strategies

- Be part of a function focused on practical delivery, stakeholder engagement, and cultural maturity
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Delivery
- Risk, Compliance & Performance
- Build strong Stakeholder Engagement
- Drive culture & Change
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years in Health & Safety, including 5+ years in leadership roles
- Experience in complex and regulated environments
- Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver programmes at scale
- Strong coaching and mentoring capability-this team needs a leader who develops people
- Confidence operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
- Excellent communication, influencing, and decision-making skills
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of NZ H&S legislation and compliance frameworks
- Experience with incident investigation methodologies (e.g. ICAM)
- Understanding of safety systems, audits, reporting, and behavioural safety
Why This Role?
- Shape the future of a growing H&S function
- Take on a role with real influence at senior leadership level
- Lead a team where your coaching and mentoring will have visible impact
- Be part of an organisation committed to safety, culture, and continuous improvement
Who This Role Suits
