Analytics & Reporting Specialist (Talent Acquisition)
High-Growth, Global SaaS Organisation
12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | $130,000 – $140,000 + Super
Our client is a globally recognised, award-winning, high-growth SaaS organisation operating at the intersection of technology and people. With a strong presence across APJ and a reputation for innovation, this business is known for its data-led decision-making and commitment to building world-class talent functions.
We’re looking for a Talent Analytics specialist who sits at the intersection of data, storytelling, and hiring strategy. This is not a traditional reporting role; it’s about turning complex talent data into clear, actionable insights that shape how the business hires across the region.
Embedded within the Talent Acquisition function, you’ll act as the go-to expert for all hiring insights – partnering closely with TA, HR, and senior stakeholders to elevate how data is interpreted, communicated, and leveraged.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-impact Talent Acquisition insights that improve efficiency, quality of hire, and overall hiring performance
- Design, build, and evolve reporting frameworks, dashboards, and executive-ready visualisations (Power BI, PowerPoint, Adobe Express)
- Translate complex and sometimes imperfect datasets into clear, compelling narratives that drive alignment and decision-making
- Build and manage end-to-end analytics programs, including defining success metrics and tracking outcomes
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Talent team, helping position TA as a strategic partner to the business
- Partner with global and cross-functional stakeholders (TA, HRBPs, People Analytics) across APJ
- Improve data integrity and help create a more consistent “single source of truth” across systems and reporting layers
- Work in ambiguity to build and mature reporting processes from the ground up
Experience Required
- 2-4 years’ experience in analytics, reporting, or insights roles
- Experience in Talent Acquisition, recruitment, or HR analytics environments is highly preferred
- Strong experience working with HRIS/ATS platforms (e.g. Workday)
- Advanced Excel skills (complex modelling, Power Query)
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau (dashboard design, data modelling)
- Proven ability to build scalable reporting frameworks and create compelling visual narratives
- Experience partnering across enterprise, matrixed organisations with multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical judgement, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments
What’s in it for you?
- 12-month full-time fixed-term contract with full leave entitlements
- Strong potential for extension or longer-term opportunities
- Hybrid working model with a modern Sydney CBD office
- $130,000 – $140,000 + Super
- High-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership across APJ
- Opportunity to shape and mature Talent Acquisition reporting in a scaling, global business
- A unique blend of hands-on analytics and strategic influence
- Collaborative, global environment with strong stakeholder engagement
Who this role suits
This role is ideal for someone who has worked in Talent Acquisition or HR analytics, or has transitioned from recruitment into data (or vice versa), and who enjoys combining analytical rigour with storytelling and stakeholder influence.
