We are partnering with a leading global media agency to hire a Manager, Integrated Media Planning to join their team. This role will lead the development and execution of integrated media strategies while managing a team and maintaining strong client relationships.
Working within a collaborative planning environment, this person will ensure media strategies are insight-driven, strategically aligned, and executed flawlessly across channels.
The Role
As Manager, Integrated Media Planning, you will oversee the development and delivery of media plans that align with client business objectives. You will collaborate with internal teams, partner agencies, and media partners to deliver strategic campaigns while mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development, writing and presentation of integrated media plans, proposals and post-campaign analysis.
* Maintain ownership of media plan stewardship, ensuring execution aligns with client objectives and KPIs.
* Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations where necessary.
* Collaborate with internal teams and partner agencies to ensure alignment across media channels and disciplines.
* Present insights around media opportunities, trends and performance to clients.
* Ensure planning outputs align with agency processes, standards and strategic frameworks.
* Manage day-to-day client planning requirements and maintain strong client relationships.
* Mentor and manage team members, supporting professional development and workload management.
* Contribute to new business initiatives and agency projects when required.
* Oversee financial aspects of media plans including budgets, purchase authorizations and billing accuracy.
Requirements
* Experience in integrated media planning within a media agency environment.
* Strong client service and relationship management skills.
* Experience developing strategic media plans based on research and audience insights.
* Experience managing or mentoring team members.
* Familiarity with media research and planning tools such as Nielsen, Vividata or similar platforms.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced agency environment.
