A leading global consulting organisation is seeking a Microsoft Alliance Director to lead and develop its strategic relationship with Microsoft across the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait.
The role will be responsible for building the regional alliance strategy, developing joint go-to-market plans and converting the Microsoft partnership into sustainable consulting revenue. The successful candidate will work closely with Microsoft’s country leadership, account teams and solution specialists, while coordinating internal sales, industry, technical and delivery teams.
This is a senior, client-facing position requiring a strong combination of commercial leadership, Microsoft technology knowledge, solution-shaping capability and delivery credibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Microsoft alliance strategy across the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait.
- Build and maintain senior relationships with Microsoft country leadership, account executives, partner teams and solution specialists.
- Develop joint business plans, account strategies and go-to-market initiatives with Microsoft.
- Identify, qualify and develop Microsoft-led consulting opportunities across enterprise and public-sector accounts.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities across the three markets.
- Lead complex sales pursuits from initial qualification through solution development, proposal and contract closure.
- Coordinate internal industry, technical, commercial and delivery teams throughout the sales process.
- Shape consulting propositions across Azure, Data and AI, Copilot, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, cybersecurity and cloud transformation.
- Ensure proposed solutions are commercially viable, technically credible and aligned with delivery capabilities.
- Support executive-level client workshops, presentations and solution discussions.
- Drive joint marketing initiatives, client events, executive roundtables and thought-leadership activities.
- Monitor alliance performance against revenue, pipeline, win-rate and market-development objectives.
- Maintain oversight of key engagements to support successful delivery, client satisfaction and account growth.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing Microsoft programmes into broader transformation engagements.
Candidate Profile:
- Significant experience within a leading consulting firm, systems integrator, Microsoft partner or technology services organisation.
- Proven track record of selling complex Microsoft consulting and transformation services.
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem and partner-led sales model.
- Established relationships within Microsoft would be highly advantageous.
- Experience originating, shaping and closing large enterprise or public-sector opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, ideally including Azure, Data and AI, Copilot, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and cybersecurity.
- Ability to combine commercial leadership with technical and delivery credibility.
- Experience working with architects, consultants, programme leaders and delivery teams to develop client solutions.
- Strong executive stakeholder-management and presentation skills.
- Experience working across multiple countries, business units or service lines.
- Knowledge of the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait technology markets would be highly desirable.
- Previous Middle East consulting or technology-services experience is preferred.
