• 20 hours / 2.5 days per week over 6 Months
• Hourly rate : 100$ to 115$/hour (negotiable around that)
• Auckland CBD based
• Hybrid arrangement – fully based on-site in Auckland CBD – to foster deep collaboration and real-time issue resolution. Flexible on how the 2.5 days are structured.

The role:

Due to recent growth in our client’s capabilities in certain verticals, we are currently in need of several contracts.

We are looking for a high-impact Scrum Master / Delivery Lead to support a strategic modernisation project for our Client. This is a part-time engagement (20 hours / 2.5 days per week) for an initial 6-month term. The role is critical for ensuring our technical squads remain aligned and high-performing as they untangle a complex legacy environment.

The ideal candidate:

Essential:

n Expert Agile Facilitation: Lead and lift all Scrum ceremonies to ensure the team remains focused on sprint goals. We need a champion for “better, faster” delivery who can iron out kinks in the delivery engine.

n Strategic Delivery & Risk Management: Own the full delivery lifecycle for this high-stakes project. You’ll be the proactive “blocker-remover,” hunting out risks and acting as the bridge between technical squads and client leadership.

n Backlog & Strategic Alignment: Partner with Product Owners to groom and prioritise the backlog, ensuring all technical work maps directly back to the broader business strategy.

n Stakeholder Communication: Ability to translate technical “engine room” updates into clear, actionable insights for executives and business stakeholders.

n Team Culture: Nurture a high-performance, cross-functional culture that rewards knowledge sharing and “T-shaped” expertise.
