Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration, maintaining compliance with local payroll regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule using ADP.
- Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and direct deposit information.
- Administer payroll-related deductions, including benefits, retirement contributions (401(k), wage garnishments, and other voluntary or mandatory deductions.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Accounting, and Benefits teams to ensure accurate payroll processing and employee data management.
- Maintain payroll documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, reporting, and system efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of U.S. payroll processing experience.
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now, ADP Vantage, ADP TotalSource, or another ADP payroll platform.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
