We’re seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer / Consultant to support critical system enhancements and development initiatives across a leading Higher Education institution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex enterprise environments, enjoys working closely with both functional and technical stakeholders, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, scalable PeopleSoft solutions.
You will play a key role in developing, optimising, and supporting PeopleSoft applications, contributing to both project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation’s student and administrative systems landscape.
WHAT’S ON OFFER
- $1100.00 a Day Inclusive of super.
- Initial 6-Month engagement, with possibility of extension.
- Melbourne CBD.
- Hybrid working model, 2 days in office.
- Exposure to working alongside a well-established Australian Uni.
THE ROLE:
You will work across development, enhancement, and support of the PeopleSoft environment, collaborating closely with business analysts, functional SMEs, and wider technology teams to deliver effective and efficient solutions.
- Develop, customise, and maintain PeopleSoft applications across key modules
- Work extensively with PeopleTools and PeopleCode to build scalable solutions
- Design and develop Application Engine programs and batch processes
- Contribute to and enhance Fluid UI to improve user experience
- Support system integrations, upgrades, and ongoing optimisation initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the PeopleSoft environment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure best practices across development, testing, and deployment

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Developer / Consultant in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on expertise in PeopleTools and PeopleCode
- Experience developing Application Engine programs
- Exposure to Fluid UI development and enhancements
- Experience with Campus Solutions 9.2 highly regarded (not essential)
- Previous experience within Higher Education environments desirable
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
