Product Operations and Strategy Manager
About the opportunity
We’re working with a fast-growing fintech and payments company that’s reinventing how commerce works in the digital economy, powering partners to deliver new ways for consumers to interact with modern financial products. As our client continues to scale and diversify its offerings, they’re looking for a dynamic product operations leader to accelerate product delivery, remove friction, and drive operational efficiency globally.
The role
As Product Operations and Strategy Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and scaling our client’s payments and fintech products by turning data into practical solutions that remove operational friction and accelerate product delivery. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders to streamline workflows, improve decision-making, and keep complex initiatives moving forward.
The role involves building and refining operational frameworks that scale, ensuring products are launch-ready, and continuously improving performance through structured analysis and experimentation. Success requires a deep understanding of how product strategy and day-to-day operations intersect, along with the ability to balance customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and broader business goals. It’s a hands-on, impact-driven role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you’ll do
Process & Workflow Optimization
- Identify process gaps and operational inefficiencies proactively, designing scalable solutions before they become blockers to growth
- Build structured decision-making mechanisms (RACI models, decision logs, prioritization frameworks) that keep complex, multi-team initiatives moving forward
- Build, document, and refine scalable operational frameworks supporting the product team from ideation through launch and iteration
Cross-Functional Collaboration & GTM Strategy
- Serve as connective tissue between strategy and execution, ensuring regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations are embedded into product workflows from the outset
- Own launch-readiness processes end-to-end – coordinating cross-functional workstreams, tracking dependencies, and surfacing risks
- Support strategic planning efforts including new product initiatives and market/competitive analysis, with a deep understanding of modern fintech and payments products
Data-Driven Performance & Analysis
- Translate data and performance metrics into practical, actionable solutions that remove friction and accelerate delivery
- Drive continuous improvement through structured analysis, hypothesis-driven experimentation, and post-launch retrospectives
- Develop and maintain reporting/dashboards giving leadership visibility into product operations health, launch pipelines, and KPIs
- Establish and manage centralized feedback loops from customers, sales, and support to inform the product roadmap
Tooling & Team Enablement
- Own, configure, and optimize the product/engineering tool stack (e.g., Jira, Notion, Confluence)
- Maintain a centralized repository of product knowledge – FAQs, release notes, best practices
What you’ll need
- 5+ years in Product Operations, Product Management, Strategy Consulting, or a highly operational cross-functional role, ideally within fintech, payments, or a high-growth tech environment
- Hands-on, impact-driven mindset with a deep understanding of how product strategy intersects with day-to-day operations
- Proven ability to turn complex data into actionable solutions and track product performance metrics
- Superb communication skills with a track record of managing complex projects and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
- Ability to navigate rapid product innovation alongside strict regulatory requirements
- Deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise product management tooling
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, collaborating with global teams across time zones
Why this role
- Shape the future at the intersection of traditional finance and next-gen financial technology
- Direct hand in building and scaling a global product ecosystem for a fast-growing client
- Highly collaborative, remote-friendly culture with competitive benefits, equity, and growth opportunities
