Program Specialist (Escalation Data)

SALT Talent is looking to hire a Program Specialist (Data) for one of the tech clients in Singapore for 12 months & renewable contract role. The ideal candidate is an experienced Data Scientist who thrives in ambiguous environments, can independently manage and deliver complex cross-functional projects, and is passionate about leveraging data to inform business strategy and operational excellence

Responsibilities:

• Lead Data-Driven Strategy:
• Drive the development and execution of data science strategies that influence key business decisions and operational improvements at scale.
• Advanced Analytics & Modeling:
• Design, build, and deploy advanced analytical models and prototypes to extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets using SQL, Tableau, Hive, Presto, and other Big Data tools.
• Mentorship & Collaboration:
• Mentor data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence

Qualification:

• 2-4 years of experience providing operations support in a technical environment with strong understanding of Operational Metrics and Key Performance Indicators to measure success of a team.
• Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in SQL (creating, optimising, and maintaining complex queries), and experience with Big Data tools (Tableau, Hive, Presto, R/Python).
• Data Storytelling: Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations.
• Reporting & Architecture: Deep understanding of reporting systems, data pipeline architecture, and best practices in data visualisation.
