Job Title:
Pre-Sales Engineer – Construction Software
Location:
Hybrid (South Midlands office + UK travel)

The Role:
* Act as the technical expert within the commercial team, supporting the sales cycle with deep product knowledge and solution insight.
* Deliver tailored product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discovery sessions to help prospects understand solution value.
* Translate customer challenges into technical requirements and position the appropriate product capabilities.
* Provide technical input into proposals, tenders, pricing discussions, and solution scoping.
* Partner closely with Sales, Product, Professional Services, Support and Development to accelerate deal cycles and ensure customer confidence.
* Contribute to technical content for marketing, internal enablement, and industry events.
The Requirements:
* Strong technical capability, able to articulate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Excellent presentation, communication, and consultative skills.
* Problem-solver with the ability to assess customer requirements and design appropriate solutions.
* Experience in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering or technical customer-facing role (5+ years ideal).
* Experience within construction technology, BIM, project scheduling, engineering or similar environments is advantageous.
* Ability to travel across the UK & Ireland as required.
* Bonus: experience with industry-leading planning/scheduling tools; ability to create technical documentation and sales enablement materials.
