Job Summary
We are seeking a highly driven Sales Manager with a strong hunter mentality to identify and secure new business opportunities within the events and technical production industry. The role focuses on proactively acquiring new clients, building a strong sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth by offering integrated event production solutions including audio, lighting, staging, and visual technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, strong industry networks, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across corporate events, exhibitions, entertainment, and brand activations.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients including event agencies, corporate organizations, marketing teams, and production companies.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and client meetings to proposal development and contract negotiation.
- Develop tailored event technology and production solutions based on client requirements.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and revenue goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the events and live production industry.
- Work closely with internal production, technical, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably within events, exhibitions, technical production, AV solutions, or entertainment production.
- Proven track record of new business development and revenue generation.
- Strong network within event agencies, corporate event teams, or exhibition organizers is highly advantageous.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience selling event technology, production services, staging, lighting, audio, or visual solutions.
- Strong understanding of the events, exhibitions, and live entertainment market.
- Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
