A top 5 payments business are looking for a home-based Direct Sales Manager to source new business opportunities and work on a creation of a territory plan covering the Benelux region within industry verticals.

Their payment solutions include a wide array of eCommerce, mobile wallets, chip card acceptance from small to large payments types. They process more than 3 billion transactions annually around the world with customisable payment tools for specific industries.

Not only that, they’re backed by one of the largest banks in the USA who provide both strength and stability to all employees. Operating in 10 countries, they’re truly a global player in the payments market.

This role will see that you gain access to a wider field of information and will be the first step to managing a team.

Job responsibilities:

  • Designing strategy with regard to:
    • Product, proposition, customer relationships
  • Competitor analysis
  • Development of team to drive success aligned with the Scorecard and best practices
  • Scheduling appointments and attending field based meetings with prospective clients
  • Reporting on sales and pipelines to management
  • Develop relationships with industry associations

Role requirements:

  • A proven track record of winning complex solution contracts with large Benelux or Pan European retailers
  • Co-ordinate the identification, targeting and account planning of prospects on a BENELUX-wide level
  • Proven ability to develop profitable new business relationships in a consultative manner
  • Ability to manage internal resources in order to meet client requirements
  • Sales Hunter and strong networker
  • Experience of managing longer sales cycles and a good understanding of the tender process
  • An ability to work under pressure and take responsibility
  • Dutch and/or French language + English
  • Proven ability to prospect and network at Senior level
