Head of Sales Operations
c£100,000 Basic + Bonus + Benefits
Amazing opportunity to create the Sales Operations function for a PE owned commodity pricing information provider.
Having acquired several businesses and experienced high growth organically, they now need someone to own Sales Ops and bring together a number of systems and processes, enabling a sales team which will grow from 50 to 100 in the next 18 months.
This role will be responsible for Global operations and as such there will be budget for additional hires once your plan is laid out.
Software used includes Salesforce, Power BI, HubSpot, ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales navigator.
Working across sales, marketing and finance you will be focused on:
· Measuring and maintaining operational excellence for sales teams including KPI’s
· Generate weekly / monthly / quarterly forecast and metric reports and provide analysis to sales management
· Develop and maintain dashboards – Track and report on all KPI’s, goals, efficiency and trend analyses during monthly / quarterly business reviews
· Provide reporting / analysis to support AE coaching
· Support ongoing implementation and roll out of any new sales tools
· Work with marketing and sales to ensure demand generation is fuelling the pipeline – report on pipeline v target %
· Define / refine the forecast methodology
· Manage sales systems, primarily CRM
· Proactively identify challenges and build solutions to drive efficiency
· Ensure CRM data is accurate and clean
· Improve systems and tool usage to create more efficient sales activities and optimise results
Experience
· 5-10 years in SaaS sales operations environments, optimising sales processes
· Experience working in high growth, performance focused environments
· Deep interest in analysing data to drive sound decision making
· Experience using Salesforce.com reports, metrics and dashboards
· Experience in programs such as goal setting, training and enablement, organisational development, and metrics development including dashboarding and score carding
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
· Strong financial, analytical and communication skills with the ability to think strategically about business challenges using data.
· Ability to convey operational status and issues to multiple levels of the organisation with detail and clarity
· Track record of breaking down complex problems and proposing / effectively communicating thoughtful recommendations
· Ability to connect sales activities and processes to business objectives
