Reconciliation Specialist

Based in the heart of London, our client is a FinTech payments platform working with challenger banks and other FinTech’s to provide foreign exchange infrastructure.

$50m+ in investment so far has led to strong growth globally since their inception in 2012.

Their Treasury & Control department is looking for a Reconciliation Specialist to help them to start the brand-new Amsterdam team, working alongside colleagues in London and New York offices.

The role is based within the Treasury & Control team who ensure that they always have the right amount of money, in the right Currency, in the right place, at the right time.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of all daily reconciliation and control processes such that any abnormal transactions are identified and corrected
• Execution of daily FCA/DNB safeguarding tasks
• Execution of internal transfers/trades for commissions, profit/losses, charges, etc.
• Identifying and delivering on opportunities to improve/streamline Treasury and Control processes
• Resolving daily issues impacting our customers or ability to demonstrate control of funds held by the business

Requirements:

• Demonstrate experience of reconciliation and control processes in international payments within an FX payments company, bank or broker with an understanding of how FCA and/or DNB regulations impact our business
• Be highly numerate and analytical
• Excellent team working skills, ability to manage own workload and tenacious attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a start-up environment
• Have an interest in the payments, financial services, technology or FX industry
