Job Purpose:

As a Sponsorship and Partnership Manager, your primary role is to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external organisations and secure sponsorship agreements to support the objectives and growth of their programmes. You will be responsible for identifying and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, negotiating partnership terms, and maximising sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility and revenue generation.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Partnership Development:

Identify potential partners and assess their suitability for collaboration based on strategic alignment, mutual benefits, and shared objectives.

Develop and implement partnership strategies to expand their network and reach new audiences.

Sponsorship Acquisition:

Proactively seek sponsorship opportunities and secure agreements with corporate sponsors, advertisers, and other funding sources.

Develop compelling sponsorship packages tailored to the needs and interests of potential sponsors.

Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners and sponsors, serving as the main point of contact and ensuring high satisfaction and engagement levels.

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver on partnership commitments and maximise value for both parties.

Negotiation and Contracting

Lead negotiations with potential partners and sponsors to secure favourable terms and agreements.

Draft and finalise partnership contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly defined and mutually beneficial.

Marketing and Promotion

Work closely with the marketing team to develop marketing collateral and promotional materials to showcase partnership opportunities and attract sponsors.

Leverage various channels, including digital media, events, and networking platforms, to raise awareness of their sponsorship offerings.

Performance Monitoring

Track and evaluate the performance of partnerships and sponsorships, monitoring key metrics such as ROI, brand exposure, and revenue generation.

Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of sponsorship initiatives.

Budget Management:

Manage the sponsorship and partnership budget, allocating resources effectively to maximise ROI and achieve strategic objectives.

Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and financial guidelines.
