SAP ABAP Technical Consultant

💰 SAR 22,000 plus vis & healthcare for candidate only.

My client, a huge consultancy, are looking for an SAP ABAP Technical Consultant to join their growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and optimizing SAP applications using ABAP, OOPS, WebDynpro, and the latest SAP technologies. You’ll collaborate closely with functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions that power key business processes across Finance and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance SAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and forms (RICEF) using ABAP, OOPS, and ALV.
• Design and implement WebDynpro applications with intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Build and maintain OData services, SAP Core Data Services (CDS), and SAP Gateway models.
• Apply BADI and User Exits to extend standard SAP functionalities.
• Perform performance tuning and code optimization to ensure system efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing support during integrations and upgrades.
• Stay current with emerging SAP ABAP technologies and recommend innovative solutions for improvement.

Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development (OO ABAP, ALV, BDC, User Exits).
• Proven success in 4+ enterprise-level ABAP projects.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with OData, SAP CDS, and SAP Gateway modelling.
• Strong background supporting Supply Chain and Finance modules.
• Expertise integrating SAP with external systems (BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs).
• Additional experience with Python, Cloudera (Hadoop ecosystem), and OpenShift is a plus.
• Familiarity with Gen AI technologies and their use in enterprise systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate or work onsite as needed.
