SAP Ariba Support Consultant | Contract | Remote | Multi-Region
About the Role
A global client is looking for an experienced SAP Ariba Support Consultant to provide first- and second-line support across their SAP Ariba environment. This is a hands-on support role covering user queries, system troubleshooting, training, configuration assistance, and change management – across multiple regions and time zones.
Due to the high volume of applications expected, candidates who have not received feedback within two weeks of applying should consider their application unsuccessful.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for SAP Ariba user queries and issues, providing L1/L2 troubleshooting and resolution
- Escalate complex issues to SAP or technical support where required and follow through to closure
- Onboard and train new users, conduct refresher sessions, and develop user guides and quick reference materials
- Provide L2 support for supplier-related queries
- Assist with SAP Ariba configuration and UAT, supporting testing of new functionality and system changes
- Validate solutions with business stakeholders before go-live
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to user experience and system efficiency
- Support SAP Ariba upgrades, rollouts, and enhancements, communicating changes effectively to users and stakeholders
- Liaise with business users, technical teams, and SAP/vendor support, tracking and following up on outstanding tickets
Technical Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba SLP (Supplier Lifecycle and Performance), Sourcing, and Contracts
- Good understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Source-to-Pay (S2P), sourcing events, contract lifecycle, and supplier management
- SAP Ariba certification in at least one of: SLP, Sourcing, or Contracts – non-negotiable
- SAP ECC experience advantageous
- Understanding of SAP Ariba integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA advantageous
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and master data management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in BCom Information Systems, BCom Informatics, BSc Computer Science, or equivalent
- 2+ years implementing and/or supporting SAP Ariba
- Hands-on experience across SLP, Sourcing, and/or Contracts
- Proven track record supporting end users and resolving SAP Ariba issues
