SAP Business Analyst (SD/MM)

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst with extensive expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM). The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP project implementations, including requirements gathering, process analysis, and system configuration. This role serves as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring SAP functionalities are delivered effectively and aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities

• Gather, document, and validate functional requirements for SAP SD/MM modules

• Support full SAP implementation projects, including blueprinting, testing, and go-live activities

• Work closely with SAP consultants and developers to ensure accurate system configuration

• Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to meet business needs

• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and integrations

• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training/documentation for end-users

• Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure smooth communication and project delivery

Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst in SAP environments

• Strong knowledge of SAP SD and MM modules, including configuration and process flow

• Proven experience in SAP implementation projects, ideally full lifecycle

• Skilled in functional documentation, process mapping, and test script creation

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Understanding of integration points between SD/MM and other SAP modules (FI, PP, WM)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications:

• Matric and relevant tertiary qualification

• SAP SD or MM certification

• Experience with S/4HANA migration or implementation

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA)
