Security Engineer – Cape Town
Zero Trust isn’t a buzzword to you – it’s Tuesday.
Our client is after a Security Engineer who can design and build the guardrails that keep a modern enterprise environment safe, without slowing the business down. You’ll be hands-on across identity, endpoint, cloud, and email security – engineering controls that are secure by design, not bolted on as an afterthought
Key Requirements:
- 6+ years in security engineering, infrastructure engineering, or cloud security
- Experience implementing Zero Trust architectures (Zscaler ZIA/ZPA experience a strong plus)
- Solid IAM and identity governance design/implementation experience (MFA, SAML, OAuth, conditional access)
- Familiarity with enterprise email security technologies
- Experience with Microsoft security platforms – Defender, Purview
- Automation skills in PowerShell and/or Python
- Working knowledge of frameworks like NIST, CIS, or ISO
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field
