The role
This Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging finance, product, and technology. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into clear requirements, and help design efficient, compliant, and scalable solutions.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys deep analysis, process improvement, and being involved from discovery through to delivery.
What you’ll be responsible for

Gathering and translating business requirements into clear functional specs and BRDs

Running workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions

Writing user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for delivery teams

Conducting gap analysis between current and future state processes
-
Analysing end-to-end financial operations to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities

Designing and documenting optimised business processes
-
Partnering with finance, risk, compliance, operations, product, and engineering teams
-
Ensuring solutions align with regulatory and risk frameworks
-
Supporting and leading UAT, including test scenarios and validation

Maintaining high-quality documentation and analysis artefacts
What we’re looking for

5-7+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
-
Strong experience within financial services, banking, or FinTech
-
Proven involvement in process automation and optimisation initiatives
-
Solid background in requirements gathering, process modelling, and documentation
-
Comfortable working in cross-functional, fast-moving environments
-
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
Business Analysis certifications are beneficial.
