THE OPPORTUNITY

You know that satisfying feeling when the numbers finally balance, the reconciliations are done, and everything is where it should be?

Now imagine doing that for your own portfolio of clients, without the daily office commute or someone constantly looking over your shoulder.

We’re looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join the growing Back Office Services team of a leading Australian vertical SaaS company serving the automotive industry.

You’ll look after around 10-12 clients across Australia and New Zealand, managing their day-to-day bookkeeping through a secure server. From bank and supplier reconciliations to supplier payments, journals, payroll, and weekly reports, you’ll play an important role in keeping your clients’ financial operations running smoothly.

The goal isn’t to keep you busy every minute of the day. You’ll work at around 85% capacity, leaving room for urgent requests and those unexpected things that come with looking after clients.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’ll need strong accounting fundamentals, solid experience with bank and supplier reconciliations, and a good understanding of journals and the General Ledger.

We’re also looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, confident with clients, and open to learning a new accounting system.

Australian accounting experience is a bonus, but strong accounting knowledge and adaptability matter most.
