We’re currently seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join a high-performing team in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation, delivering impactful insights that drive real business decisions.
The Role
As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements, build dashboards, and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets from multiple sources
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Translate business requirements into data solutions and insights
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, tech, and business stakeholders
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are upheld
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst ( experience in higher education environments would be beneficial)
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Experience with Excel and/or Python/R for data analysis
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex data into clear insights
Contract Details
- Location: Sydney (hybrid working available)
- Duration: 9 months (with potential extension)
- Rate: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)
- Start: Immediate or short notice preferred
