Our client is hiring a Senior Sales Manager to lead sales delivery for a flagship exhibition portfolio. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and leading sales initiatives while ensuring strong collaboration across marketing and operations teams.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, target-driven environments within the exhibitions industry.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Sales strategy & execution
- Sell new and existing exhibition space to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned with overall show strategy
- Identify new markets, exhibitors, and revenue opportunities
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to drive innovation
- Manage sponsorship and non-space revenue streams
Key account & relationship management
- Own relationships with key exhibitors, agents, and industry bodies
- Develop and execute key account strategies to drive retention and growth
- Ensure a high-quality exhibitor experience from sale through delivery
Team leadership & performance
- Set sales targets, monitor progress, and drive performance across the team
- Coach and support sales team members to exceed individual targets
- Track daily sales activity and pipeline health using CRM tools
Cross-functional coordination
- Work closely with Marketing and Operations to ensure successful show delivery
- Support floor plan management and exhibitor allocation
- Ensure sales promotions and campaigns are executed on time and at high quality
What we’re looking for:
- 7-8+ years of sales experience in exhibitions or B2B events
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing key accounts and sales agents
- Confident negotiator with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in deadline-driven, high-energy environments
