Senior Software Engineer (Support/Maintenance)

We are hiring Senior Software Engineers (Support & Maintenance) to join a global technology organisation supporting a wide variety of internal applications that consists of legacy systems built over the past 20+ years to modern platforms.

This is a hands-on and problem-solving role where your engineering skills will multiply as you start mastering system after system.

Key responsibilities:

• Support and maintain a wide range of internal applications which includes legacy and in-house systems.
• Troubleshoot, fix bugs and implement upgrades while learning each system’s framework
• Writing code mainly using Java and C++
• Follow Jira workflows for ticketing, prioritization, and system updates.
• Continuously learn by supporting and maintaining each system to steadily build mastery.

What we are looking for:

• Strong coding skills in Java and C++ and exposure to other languages would be a plus.
• Willingness and curiosity to learn legacy systems and tackle complex troubleshooting challenges.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Independent, proactive and able to prioritise tasks effectively within the team.
• Experience with Jira or ticketing systems would be valuable.
• A stable work history is critical for this role
