Senior Strategist – Digital Agency | NYC | Hybrid | Up to $135k
Our client is a tight-knit, independent digital agency with a simple belief: great strategy shouldn’t stop at the brief. They’re looking for a Senior Strategist who can architect a brand strategy on Monday and be knee-deep in content frameworks and measurement models by Friday.
This is a rare “thinker-doer” role with real autonomy, real ownership, and real impact.
The Role
You’ll be the primary strategic lead across a diverse portfolio of clients spanning Health & Wellness, CPG, and Entertainment. You’ll own the process end-to-end, from consumer insight to campaign execution to performance optimisation, and be the person clients trust to tell them what to do next.
This isn’t a slide-writing job. You’ll be shaping brand positioning, building content ecosystems, leading website strategy, partnering with SEO and media specialists, and building measurement frameworks that connect creative to commercial outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead brand, channel, loyalty and cultural strategy across a portfolio of digital-first clients
- Build scalable content systems and repeatable format frameworks, not just one-off campaigns
- Define user journeys and content strategy for brand website launches, particularly in Health & Wellness
- Act as the strategic point of contact for media and SEO partners, bridging their work back to brand strategy
- Own measurement frameworks that tie creative tactics to business goals, LTV, ROI, the full picture
- Present, persuade, and grow client relationships with confidence and clarity
You’re T-Shaped
Your deep vertical is brand strategy, creative strategy, and comms planning. But you also speak the language of paid media, SEO, AEO, and technical web, well enough to brief specialists, challenge their thinking, and ensure everything ladders back to the brand.
You’ve got 6+ years in a digital or creative agency, a strong track record in CPG (Beauty, Health or Wellness ideally), and a genuine interest in where culture and discovery are heading, including AEO, GEO, and AI-driven search.
