Service Technician – Te Awamutu

When equipment goes down, the impact is felt beyond the machine itself. Work slows, schedules are disrupted, and people can’t do what they need to do.

Based in Te Awamutu, you’ll play an important role in keeping agricultural and construction businesses operating at their best. Whether you’re diagnosing faults in the workshop or supporting customers in the field, your work helps minimise downtime and keeps essential industries moving.

What You’ll be Doing

Working across a range of leading equipment brands, you’ll carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards. You’ll be trusted to solve problems, take ownership of your work and deliver practical solutions for customers.

The role is predominantly workshop-based, with field service work adding variety throughout the week. For experienced technicians, there is also the opportunity to mentor apprentices and help grow the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

What You’ll Bring

You’re a qualified Heavy Diesel Engineer or Diesel Mechanic with at least two years workshop experience. Experience with agricultural machinery is highly regarded, although candidates from construction equipment or heavy diesel fleet environments are also encouraged to apply.

You’ll bring strong diagnostic capability, confidence using modern technology, a collaborative approach, and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
