A rapidly growing global SaaS company is looking for a strategic Staff Product Manager (fully remote role) to lead the localisation and product strategy for its expansion into the Australian market.

This is a unique opportunity to operate in a “start-up within a scale-up” environment, owning the Australian product roadmap and shaping how a market leading platform adapts to local requirements. Rather than simply localising existing features, you will play a critical role in defining the product strategy and foundations for long-term success in Australia.

You will work across global product, engineering and go-to-market teams to ensure the platform meets regional needs, from accounting integrations and compliance to telecom workflows and operational nuances.

If you thrive in ambiguous environments, enjoy building products for new markets, and are passionate about solving real customer problems, this role offers significant impact and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

Define the Product Vision

Own and drive the multi-year product roadmap for the Australian market, balancing short-term localisation requirements (such as GST compliance and regional formats) with longer-term strategic opportunities that support market growth and customer retention.

Lead Customer Discovery

Conduct deep customer research with Australian based businesses to uncover unmet needs and translate insights into clear product requirements that deliver meaningful value.

Collaborate Globally

Partner closely with global product, engineering and design teams to ensure the platform architecture supports international expansion, while delivering market-specific functionality for Australian users.

Support Go-To-Market Teams

Work closely with Sales, Implementation and Customer Success teams in Australia to ensure they are equipped to successfully launch and support the product locally.

Measure Product Impact

Define and track key regional product metrics including feature adoption, localisation progress and customer retention, ensuring alignment with broader global product goals.

What We’re Looking For

Product Management Experience

7+ years’ experience in Product Management within B2B SaaS environments.

International or Market Expansion Experience

A proven track record of launching products in new geographic markets or leading complex localisation or internationalisation initiatives.

Technical Understanding

Experience working with complex integrations such as accounting platforms (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and API-driven telecom or workflow systems.

Entrepreneurial Mindset

Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with high autonomy, helping shape strategy and influence global teams as the company enters a new market.

Strong Communication Skills

Able to clearly articulate regional product requirements and influence stakeholders across leadership and cross-functional teams.

Data-Driven Decision Making

Demonstrated ability to prioritise product initiatives using both quantitative metrics and qualitative customer insights.

Apply Now

If you’re excited by the opportunity to build the product foundations for a global SaaS company entering the Australian market, we’d love to hear from you.
