What your new role looks like
- Provide technical advice and product solutions to engineers, production teams and procurement
- Manage and grow an established customer base
- Follow up and convert warm leads and inbound enquiries
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Build strong, long-term partnerships across your territory (Waikato / BOP)
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations and custom education sessions including workshops
- Attending networking and industry events and trade shows
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years in external technical sales or strong customer-facing sales experience with a background in Mechanical or Materials Engineering.
- The ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously in a remote role
- Knowledge of the Waikato/BOP region (highly advantageous)
