Position: Lead Software Developer

Location: CARDIFF

Day rate: £190 INSIDE

Duration: 6 months (potential extension)

Overview: We represent Digital Health care provider, a key Authority driving digital transformation for improved healthcare. Join us in delivering large-scale tech-enabled healthcare projects to enhance the well-being of Wales.

Responsibilities: As Lead Software Developer (.Net), you’ll be in an agile team, focusing on .NET development. Responsibilities include UI development, API integration, mentoring, and upholding sound software design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Development or equivalent
• Agile methodology foundation (e.g., BCS Foundation Agile)
• Desirable: Registered with British Computer Society as a Registered Informatics Professional with FED-IP
• Desirable: Advanced qualification in agile development (e.g., Professional Scrum Master)

Skills:

• ASP.NET MVC and latest Microsoft .NET technologies
• Strong OOP and design patterns knowledge
• Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, MSTest/NUnit
• SQL and enterprise RDBMS skills
• Mentorship and communication skills
• Planning, organisation, and adaptability
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated

Working Arrangements:

• Initial remote work (COVID-19); onsite work may be required
• Travel expenses per Public Transport rate

Contract Details: Inside IR35; 6-month initial contract, potential extension; Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8am – 6pm.
